Waldrecker Foot

The Waldreckerheer includes three regiments of foot, of two battalions each. Pictured from left to right are the uniforms of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Regiments of Foot of the Waldreckerheer. It is known that one battalion of each regiment is currently present at the investment of Festung Dolmen, while the precise whereabouts of the other battalions are uncertain.

Credit for the illustrations is by special arrangement with the good offices of Herren Linienblatt of Tipplebruder, purveyor of fine uniform templates to the best courts of Christendom and the other courts of Europe.

These uniforms look very good. And I must say that this is very quick work . . . I do believe that this particular pattern was just made available this very day.

I like them!

Wow! Very pleasant. And indeed you did not delay to make (very good) use of David's last template!

Thanks for sharing,
Jean-Louis

Very nicely done. All sorts of inspirational.

Yes, they do look good, don't they? (though perhaps I shouldn't say so ;-)).

New versions are now up on my blog; I've also slightly improved the first one.

Looking forward to more! :-)

David.

P.S. Just one small point - shouldn't the lace edging of the waistcoats be the same top and bottom?

P.P.S. Oh and there's a patch of red coat uncoloured just under the lapels! :-)

We have consulted with our engravers and made corrections to the copperplate on the basis of Herr Linienblatt's notes above.
